Some big trout still in the bayous.

It has been pretty windy so far this spring. We have been staying close but still managing to put together a decent stringer of fish. Get in on the action before the heat of summer.

We have been fishing that back bayous and tidal creeks lately. The water temps are cold but the afternoons have been heating up with some nive fish and alot of smaller ones released for next year. Not many boats on the water so it is lretty peaceful this time of year. With the winds up alot, the backwayer can add protection from the wind to keep fishing even on the colder days.

When the wind has let us get out on the newrshore reefs we have been getting some really nice sheephead. Starting to find some keeper speckled trout and nice white trout on the windy days. Plenty of nice flounder being caught as well.
