Had a great day on the water finding limits of vermillion rockfish, a few sculpin, and had an interaction with 6’ Thesher shark. Conditions were good and we didnt have to go far, only about a 20 min boat ride.

On this 4 hour charter we set out looking for some saltwater bass that would bite the artificials. We fished a few structure areas, than transitioned to fishing the beaches. All of the fish were landed using various swimbaits, slugs, and craws. Conditions were good in the morning and we ended up with a mix of Calico Bass, Sand Bass, and Sculpin.

We had short boat ride in the morning and looked for some rockfish that were willing to bite. It was steady fishing and managed to catch some fish tacos. Ended the day with a few reds, some white fish, and a mix of other rockfish.

This morning was a little bit slower due to conditions but we still managed to find some fish that bit the plastics. Ended the morning with 3 Calicos and 3 Sand Bass.
