Great week of inshore fishing on the inter coastal and St Johns River. Pictured are Hal and David with one of many redfish, Hal let Captain Todd pose with his big sheepshead catch as well. Warming waters have brought in a great variety of fish, catches this week include jack crevalle, Spanish mackerel, black drum, trout, lady fish and flounder along with the pictured hefty upper slot redfish and scattered sheepshead. Morning tides from May 4th through May 11th are optimal, let's go fishing !

Cruised the beach this week in search of Cobia from St Augustine to Mayport, while the Cobia were not be found, we ran across a school of huge Black Drum. I estimate this one was about 70 lbs, I sure had a hard time lifting it up! It's always fun to get surprised by an unexpected catch and there are alot of different species on the move this time of the year. The waterways are open, let's go fishing!

Winter fishing has been productive but difficult at times due to windy conditions and cold temps. Our 2 week forecast calls for daytime temps to remain above 70 degrees. Water temperatures will begin to rise quickly bringing an increased quantity of bait and hungry predators! Pictured are a couple nice redfish brought to the boat recently on a cooler day. Grab your sunscreen and let's go fishing, spring in Jacksonville Beach rocks!
