The wind and rain finally gave us a break yesterday and we had a beautiful day offshore. I had a great group of ladies on board who wanted to target swordfish. This is a relatively new fishery in NC, but in a very short amount of time there have been a lot of fish caught. On the first drop of the day we came tight on a nice fish. Unfortunately it wasn't our day, and after a short fight we pulled him off. We made several more drifts with no bites.
