Trip Summary

We had a slow day trolling but put a fat tuna on ice that hit a big bonito lure and got a nice grey tilefish deep dropping. The wrecks and reef were not a hit either but we managed to get a few snapper and porgy on ice as well. The big bomber bonitos have been out there all week hitting live pilchards on the light tackle gear a 15lb fish is alot of fun.

Plenty of action on some of everyone's favorites out there. Small schools of mahi move close to the reef this time of year and sailfish as well. We target them with live baits and light tackle for a great feel and a lot of fun!

As the summer comes to an end the fishing starts to transition into the fall migration and we see more mahi, tuna, and sailfish move south and feed aggressively orf the reef as the water cools down. The bottom fishing for snapper has been great this month and should continue through October.

As the days get warmer the action close to the reef continues to improve. Alot of our catch comes from 80-120' of water which is just over a mile offshore. Take advantage of this time of year to get in on the action!
