With straight east winds today, the fishing was rough as waves were in the three to five foot range. While Lake Trout and the occasional Steelhead Trout or Coho Salmon can be caught, weather conditions this week will not be ideal for fishing. These two meant business through and rode the waves long enough to bring in these six fish!

During a Sunday Funday fishing trip after getting fuel, Captain Matt decided to drop some lines to see what fish were looking for a mid-day snack. With the lake rolling over late Saturday night, random pockets of cold water meant the opportunity to find big King Salmon. This 20 lb 4-year-old King Salmon was caught on a Warrior Lures Steelhead Candy spoon. Although the King Salmon bite is there, we're catching more Coho Salmon, Lake Trout and Steelhead currently - but the potential is there!

Our Saturday trip was a birthday trip from mother to son - what a great idea! Throughout the day, the swells and chop on the water increased, but so did this group's excitement! Working the waters from 150 ft to 180 ft, this group reeled in 12 fish with other opportunities to catch as well. Competition was fierce with this group to see who could reel in the biggest fish - and as you can see, there were plenty to weigh!
