Walleye fishing is still going strong! Fishing East of Kelley Island to Vermillion dump. Fish are scattered and key is to find an active pond and stay with them. Perch are fired up early this year! Most caught south of Green Island to Rattlesnake Island.

Dumped the boat in and headed northwest about 6 miles and setup gear. Trolling around 2 mph with TruTrip Divers and Spoons is what they wanted. Walleye started hitting one after the other and before we realized it the box was full of nice walleye!! Way to go!!!

Rod and his son Kurt joined me for a walleye adventure. Kurt caught his first walleye and continued to catch many more!! We fished just East of tge Cedar Point dump area. Trolling willow blade troll harnesses and wormburners. Targeted 30 to 34 feet today.
