The Boulder Junction Muskie opener had some success. Water Temps were in the upper 50's and the fish would hit a slow retrieve. With the water temps on the rise the bigger muskies will soon be active.

Dave comes up every fall to Boulder Junction, WI the Muskie Capital of the World for a few days of Muskie fishing. The weather started out warm enough to wear shorts and finished with it cold enough to wear an insulated coat. The colder weather triggered a good fall Muskie bite!

People have been coming up to Boulder Junction, WI the Muskie Capital of the World from all over the United States. Some come up from the south to beat the heat some come from southern Wisconsin or neighboring states to try and catch their first muskie. Boulder Junction offers hundred of lakes that have the first Muskie just waiting to be caught!
