With the ongoing hot weather, we had a break and some wind changes and the fish got fired up. We have been catching, big balck sea bass, grouper, cobia, redfish, sharks and the big Spanish Mackerel finally showed up. With the next week of NE winds we will fall back inshore for Redfish, speckled trout, flounder, sheepshead amd black drum. Dont let the ripped up ocean scare you. We have a whole world of inshore fishing in the Cape Fear area.

After a long hot summer without many Spanish around theu finally showed up! Solid big sized spansih ready to eat artifocail lites worked fast. A great time to fill the cooler amd the freezer!
