April 21, 2025 - The day dawned absolutely gorgeous, perfect for our offshore fishing trip. Jason and his son joined me, and it turned out to be quite an eventful morning on the water. We were getting bites left and right, pulling in a surprising variety of fish. There were some beautiful groupers and vibrant red snappers, though it was a reminder that they are currently out of season, so we carefully released them back to the depths. We also landed some impressively large black sea bass and a few flat and tasty-looking flounders. It's always a thrill to see what the ocean has to offer, and today was no exception. Spending time on the boat with good company and the excitement of the catch is truly something special.
