Today January 14th, 2023 we set out on a chilly boat ride with redfish on the minds. We thawed out from the cold when we got to the fishing hole. The redfish were munching and fiesty. Drags were screaming and fish were going into the box. The bite was every 2nd to 3rd cast before they were hooked up again. We threw 3/8th jig heads with gulp swimming mullet today. The water color was a muddy color so chartreuse was the only color they wanted. We ended losing several reds at the boat and came back with 14 redfish to clean.
