Spring break is upon us and the fishing is getting better each day! The redfish have been loving this warmer water inshore. Offshore: the Spanish mackerel have shown up in full force nearshore and in the Destin harbor. The kings won’t be far behind! A Mahi Mahi was even caught off a local pier this week! Offshore is only going to continue to get better in the coming weeks and I look forward to taking advantage of it. In the surf along 30A the pompano run has officially begun I do believe. Good numbers of pompano being caught along with some bull reds and nice black drums this time of year.
