On days we are able to avoid the dolphins and sharks, we are ending most trips with double tables of keepers! Just a few more weeks of our regular Red Snapper season to go, and the fish are still of pretty good size.

I have never seen predation at every single location like I did on this trip. The dolphins were hardly letting a vermillion slip by them, but we did manage a few for dinner. We attempted running a few miles from the dolphins 5 different times, only to be greeted with a brand new batch of baddies. They left us the grunts(because they don’t pull off the hook easily), so we put them to use on a few big fish. We also battled a few large sharks due to predation.

Catch and release trip for Torye’s 16th birthday! We caught enough amberjack to make everyones arm sore, lots of smiles.
