Coach John Sherman booked a guided crappie fishing trip in exchange for two SnoBiz snow-cones. Coach Sherm met me and my son at HQ and we proceeded to Sardis Lake for an early mid-morning start. We quickly got on fish pulling bandit crankbaits out from Piney Point and by 10am had nearly a limit before my 6 year old decided he was ready to swim. We headed in with a newfound appreciation for how much more relaxing pulling crankbaits can be compared to fighting the wind trying to livescope.
