Fishing has been on fire for the past couple of weeks. A lot of redfish with some speckled trout, mangrove snapper, and spanish mackerel as well.

Destin can get a little chilly during the winter but we still get plenty of days where the sun pops out and it feels great. No matter what the conditions, though, fish gotta eat! We target redfish, speckled trout, mangrove snapper, sheepshead, pompano, black drum, and flounder during the winter months using both live bait and artificial lures.

Bay fishing in Destin has been great the past few weeks. We are getting into a bunch of different species including redfish, speckled trout, spanish mackerel, mangrove snapper, flounder, blue fish, and black drum. Most of our fishing is with live bait casting in shallow water but we are also getting some fish on artificial lures including some big jack Krvel weighing over 20 pounds. Destin shore fishing at its best!
