Today made up for yesterday with calm winds and warm temperatures. Like yesterday, it was a black crappie day, plus one 17 inch largemouth bass. Early morning creek fishing was diffilcult due to debris rafts drifting downsfram due to recent heavy rains. Here's are a few photos.

High, gusty winds kept us off the main lake today, but we boated 19 crappie (11 keepers) fishing sheltered creeks. Lots of fish marked, but turbid waters from the rains two days earlier seemed to dampen the bite.

Spring-like temperatures over the past several days has moved the crappie pre'spawn period ahead. Lots of big pre-spawn crappie are moving up shallow.
