Overzicht van de Trip

Fished a couple days this weekend. Memorial Day normally marks the start of great walleye fishing off Geneva State Park Marina and this year is no different. Quick limits Saturday evening and Sunday morning. We are seeing a mix of year classes. Lots of 19-22in fish with several 26-28in fish. Fish are still relatively close to shore only having to go a few miles to get on the best bite.

Fishing remains excellent on Lake Erie out of Geneva. Easy limits of quality fish usually done in less than 3 hours with the crews limit.

Yes, it's that good right now! Fishing is incredible off of Geneva State Park on Lake Erie. Fishing has been good throughout the day. Most fish are ranging from 19-23 inches with some larger 24-28 inch fish each trip. We have primarily been trolling 8+ miles off shore targeting fish down 44-60ft in the water column. We have also been catching some fish casting using forward facing sonar when conditions allow.

Great trip Sunday 7/6. Caught over 50 and kept 30 walleye plus two big steelhead. John and crew are heading back with a cooler full of walleyes. Fishing will continue to be good through the summer.
