I had repeat customers Mr. Will and his son Caleb back down for another trip. They wanted to snapper fish, but the weather changed the night before and didn't allow us to get out to them. The next best thing was to go chase hard fighting Louisiana redfish. We were loaded with campos live shrimp 1ft under a cork. We found some ponds with pretty green water that has some tide movement. We established a pattern fairly quick and went to town on them. We were done with our limit in less than an hour. We spent at least another 2 hours catching and releasing well over 40 redfish along with a few other sheepshead. The fishing this year in Shell Beach, Louisiana, has been absolutely incredible this year. If you're not on the books, i truly feel bad that you're missing out. Shell Beach is a special place that gets overlooked a lot. The knowledge I've gained in the last 12 years has helped put smiles on hundreds of customers' faces. I've seen many people's first fish and many people's possibly last fish.
