Great couple days on the water , limits of chinooks as well the opening of ling cod and rock fish . Killer whales still hanging around but not effecting the fishing to much.

February 1, 2016~ A great day for winter Chinook salmon fishing. December until March we have opportunities for feeder chinooks ( 8-20lb), halibut, pacific cod, sable fish, crab and prawns. We mostly targeted chinooks, releasing 6 and keeping 2, with a couple long line releases (aka. Lost!), making for an average winter day .... Lots of different cod (lingcod and rock fish) were caught but were released due to theses species being closed for spawning at this time of year. A drop of prawn traps also produced a nice catch of spot prawns!!

Flat calm and warm ! Great day with super people. Lots of nice fish coming in ! Today's biggest was 29.5lb ! This fish jumped 8 times at least three to four feet out of the water making for an amazing fight. Limits of chinooks and a half dozen crabs made for very happy guests!

With the end of June approaching in come the big fish. This 34 lb Chinook was caught on a blue meanie hoochie at 250 feet.
