Trip Summary
Trip Summary
The weather has been HOT and so has the scalloping.
Water temperatures are in the 90’s by mid day so fishing can be slow in the hotter parts of the day.
Redfish and snook have been eating on the incoming tides early in the morning, in the evenings, and at night when temperatures are the coolest.
Sharks and stingrays throughout the day are fun and are a great fight!
Mangrove Snapper have been thick in areas and have lots of numbers.
Trout have been very consistent and producing lots of action in between bigger bites.
Scalloping has been absolutely fantastic this year and we’re hitting bag limits quickly.
The weather has been hot, but the water is gorgeous and the days are beautiful.
If you’re looking to get a good variety and to make an unforgettable experience the daytime is for you. If you’re the more dedicated angler looking to fish a bit more seriously i’d consider a night time trip just to avoid the summer time boat traffic as well as avoid the heat and have better chances at catching fish.
No matter which trip or when you choose to go, you’ll enjoy every moment and have a wonderful time.
