Trip Summary

Lots of anorexic crappie showing up on brushpiles in 15-20 FOW, but we tempted a few to dine with 1/64 ounce jigs tipped with live minnows. Cooler weather coming in September/October will certainly improve the bite.

A beautiful day on Lake Chickamauga yielded a variety of species, including some nice 13-14 inch crappie. All fish were trolled using jigs and crankbaits trolled at 12-16 foot depths over submerged creek flats in 18-20 FOW.
