The blackfin had been showing up near the pasd so thats where we started and in the first 2 min. of trolling we hooked up double, but wrong species. After catching several false albacore we decided to move down towards the pier and didn't take long and we found a good king mackrel and several more albacore. So we made a decision to just keep working furter out and cought another king and finally we hooked up and knew wright away it was likely a blackfin tuna and was wright 26 pounds. 25 fish total , 1 blackfin, 3 king mackerel, a short amberjack ( season opens sept. 1st) 1 spanish, bite by barracuda, 1 barracuda, and 18 false albacore. What a awesome day,
