Striper On!

We left the dock at 9:00 AM for a two-hour trip. It eas 75 degrees, blue sky and 10mph SW wind. Within 5 minutes of dropping the first line, we caught a flounder, then a Kingfish, then Sand-Sharks, then a flounder…lots of fun with catching and some misses for this group of hard-working first-timers. As far as fishing trips go, this was about as good as it gets, in everyway.

We started this morning and it was 58 degrees! ? Headed out to the ocean and caught fish; came inside and caught fish. We watched several boats head out to the reefs, only to return 45 minutes later and fish inside. Water is clearing up, but it’s far from clear. So, switching up baits is important. I had a great father-son fishing team, today! It didn’t take long for either to master the catching part. I hope to see you guys back!!! —Capt. Chris ???

In our quick trip, we hit a calm ocean. We caught croakers and a weakfish, and decided to move. As we moved there was a pod of dolphins jumping six feet out of the water! What a show! We caught a few more fish and headed back inside to catch some flounder. A lot to see and do in just two hours. A fine fishing trip in every way! ????
