Its been a busy week and we have seen the hottest temps of the year so far. The fish didn't mid at all. We had several days this week of 20+ redfish and black drum landed. We are sightfishing large schools of redfish with topwater plugs and spoons. For the black drum fresh NC shrimp is the ticket.

Its been a lot of fun over the last week! Our redfish are coming on topwater plugs, soft plastics and spoons. Black drum on cut shrimp.

We've had 7 or 8" of much needed rain the past few days but headed into the weather it was just as good as it gets. We had a prefrontal bite and really whacked the redfish on topwater plugs and gold spoons. My clients got to witness their first redfish tailing and floating.
