Spent some time right on the edge of the Northwoods scouting some new water and fishing with family and a couple of good friends. Felt nice to grind out a day trip, with 4 protected fish over 20” going back and a 2 man limit by 9:30 am. Full day central and northern wisconsin trips available.

Walleyes are starting to move back down the river from the spawn, with water temps 51 and climbing the bite is improving as we get closer to the transition to lake fishing. First few hours of the day produced fish on flies and hair jigs. Maintaining bottom contact was a must.
