Trip Summary

Another beautiful morning on Lake Michigan. East wind. Found a mix bag of medium and small kings and a lot of good size lake trout. Including a 21 lb bruiser. Went 7/11 this morning and had great company to be with. Kings on meat rigs and spoons. Trout on spin doctors and spin n glos.

A great morning on the big water. Calm seas and 60 degrees for our early 4:45 am start. Plenty of fish to play with down in the 12s anywhere from 150 - 350 FOW. Started the morning with a triple hook-up on kings followed by a nice steelhead. Spoons and meat rigs all fired off on 1, 5, and 7 color leadcore lines and also another king on a 250 copper. 1 king on wire diver on meat. Variety of spoons including DW Super Slims and moonshines and silver streaks. Lost a few steelhead out deep on short lead cores. All in all went 5 for 9 and back to the dock a little after 10 am.
