Had a great trip with Captain Jason Perry, of Rising Sun Sportfishing, filling in for his father, Jeff, on the First Light. My crew was myself, my son, and my 8 year old grandson.  Jason had us on the striped bass early in the trip, and it was only and hour or so before we had our three fish limit plus several released fish.  Then we transitioned to flounder fishing.  Once lines were in, it was non-stop action.  We caught our limit of flounder in a couple hours, sometimes two at a time.  The mate, Mason, was great to work with.  He was very patient and helpful with my grandson, and educated my son and I on the techniques that produce fish.  We actually asked Jason to bring us in an hour or so early since my grandson was tired and we had a lot of fish to clean.  The captain and mate took care of the fish cleaning, and we went back to our rental with a full cooler.  I highly recommend this charter!

Captain Jeff and First Mate Jason couldn’t have been better. It was the end of the season, so catching fish wasn’t a given, and they managed to find where they were and guide to a bounty. They’re super helpful and relaxed and I will book them again in a heartbeat.

We have been on a few fishing trips over the years and this one was probably the best. Not only did we catch a ton of fish but both Captain Jeff and Mason were great hosts. The boat was very comfortable too - we normally have to stand as we fish but we all had chairs.

Captain Jeff and Jason were great! Both were very knowledgeable. They took the time to explain things to three teenager girls, who were new to stripe bass fishing and flounder fishing. They answered everyone’s questions and made sure the kids had great experience and had a chance to catch multiple fish. We would not hesitate to book with them again.

Had an awesome time out in the water not only did we catch 26 fish but they were able to catch a wayward kite out on the water. It was a fantastic day and we can’t wait to come back next year.
