Of the 4 hours we had on our fishing trip, we only spent about an hour fishing. We went 20 miles out to catch a bunch of small fish. The boat has no seats, so me and my 64 year old wife sat on coolers for most of the trip. I asked for a trip that didnโt go so far out when I booked it. The captain and his brother were capable enough for what we caught. I would have never planned to go that far out to catch those small fish.
Wow i was under the impression you guys had a great trip with us the way you were talking while we cleaned your fish, i took you guys out in ge gulf to catch great eating fish which was the only thing you asked me for - sure we could of caught red snapper or amberjack - but unfortunately they were out of season, and you only booked a 4hr trip so i was kind of limited on time - but i made sure you caught a limit of vermillion snapper & trigger fish, you also told me they snapper and triggerfish were large and pulled hard , i had to help your wife reel many of her fish in because she was having a hard time due to the fight these โ small โ fish were putting up, iโm not sure what you mean about 20 miles out, we were maybe 6 miles or so from the beach, we also fished for 2.5 hours out of a 4hr trip, but anyway, hereโs a great picture of you two cheesing. I apologize Mr. Jefferson, give me a call and iโll get you refunded in full. I hope you enjoyed the great seafood the gulf of mexico had to offer for you guys on that beautiful day.

Tuff bite on this trip. Fish didnโt cooperate. Red snappers and triggers werenโt in season, and that what we caught most 2 reds about 15 triggers. Ended up keeping 5 mingos. Wish the guys wouldโve already had bait caught before the trip. Also wish they wouldโve cleaned all 5 mingos we kept or at least gutted the other 3.
