I have been on guided fishing trips all over the US and this was one of the best. There is no doubt captain Russ knows the bays and what he is doing. We were 1 shy of a three person limit, but lost a few and had a few undersized we had to throw back. The best part of the trip was watching Captain Russ spend the time with my 7 year old. He took the time to make sure my son caught fish (he caught the most fish of the day) and he had a genuine care making sure my son drank enough water since it was a hot day. I would not hesitate to recommend this guide and I will be booking more trips with Captain Russ.

When I booked through Fishing booker i was able to send Captain Russ a message letting him know that I was bringing my wife for her first time to go bay fishing and I wanted her to get hooked. Captain Russ contacted us the day before to give us the meet up location and I could tell right away he wanted us to have a good time and was going to put us on fish. I liked the way he was ready to move if a spot didnโt seem very productive and kept it up until we found the right spot. We caught lots of fish but only a few keepers, but we had a great time and enjoyed the entire trip. The wife had a great time and i think we got her hooked-on bay fishing. Thank You Captain Russ!! We picked an โNot so Friendlyโ day on the waterโฆthey skyโs were grey, a light drizzle and the winds were 10-15 kts.ย The Red Fish wouldnโt bite, no matter what Capt. Russ tried.ย So we went to go find some โBig Uglies!โย Fishing with 2 Teenage Boys, we NEEDED some ACTION!ย DID WE FIND IT!!!ย Capt. Russ used his knowledge of the water depths and the currents in the channel and told us where to drop our linesโฆ.ย Within 30 mins we had landed 4 Black Drum!ย They ranged in size of 46 inches down to 38 inches.ย Thank you, Capt. Russ the boys and I had a BLAST!

Russ is great! Had 2 12 yr old girls, with one being her first time fishing.ย The bite has been tough the last 3/4 weeks with water temps etc but we grinde it out and caught fish and were getting bites all morning. Would highly recommend!

Although the heat & other conditions has made fishing the past few weeks tough in the area, Russ knew where to take us and be able to almost catch our limit in trout. We caught a lot that were barely under. Heโs very knowledgeable of the area, and the fish. So much so that he could tell us what we caught before even reeling it in. Very nice guy and very professional. 10/10 recommend!
