To be very clear, you’re paying a charter to put you on the fish, given that fish don’t always bite it is important to keep in mind that even the best captains can’t always make it happen. I got a call the day before saying the fish had stopped eating around 9. He asked us to come in at 6 instead of 7 for our best chances and he was right. The captain knows the waters and the fish. We lost 3 good sized fish and landed 8 others in a matter of 4 hours. These guys deserve a 10 star review because they went above and beyond what was asked. I will be booking again.

What a day on the water. I can’t thank Captain Craig and Deckhand Brandon enough for the hospitality and experience.  We booked an 8hr trip which allowed time to experience some trolling as well as bottom fishing.
This was a family trip for a birthday celebration which they made sure to focus on our son catching all he wanted plus some.
As a business owner - being personable is a must in the service business, these guys knocked it out of the park!

If you’re looking for a charter, look no further. I booked with CB months in advance, and my day finally arrived. CB and his mate met us at the dock and welcomed us aboard. The had us on fish literally in less than 30 minutes after meeting them. I had two 14 year old boys fishing on big water for the first time and CB made them feel immediately at home.
I’ve booked with other charters, but I’ve never had one make me and my family feel SO welcome. The mate, Brandon, is definitely Johnny on the spot. He kept bait on for us all the time and sometimes I’d try to beat him to rebaiting but he was ALWAYS there.
CB has a fantastic thing going here. He knows where the fish are, he can put you on them, and he and his crew are just down to earth awesome guys.
I will DEFINITELY be back!

From greeting us at the dock to waving goodbye, our experience on the Tail Raiser Charter was the best we’ve ever had. We cannot thank or compliment Captain Craig or Brandon, our deckhand, enough. They were awesome and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience. We caught 163 pounds of red and black snapper, king mackerel and mahi mahi. What places Tail Raiser at the very top of my charter experiences is that Captain Craig asked what we were hoping to catch and then planned our trip in order to make that happen. Brandon kept all six of us with plenty of bait on our hooks, was happy to explain different fishing techniques and engage in conversation in between.  Tail Raiser Charters is now our “go to” charter when in Panama City. We highly recommend that you do the same. Thanks Captain Craig and Brandon, we will definitely be back soon!

We went down for a weekend on a bachelor trip with a focus on our first fishing charter experience. Captain and first mate totally nailed it and we had a great time. We hit a hot spot of Spanish Mackerel and caught more than enough for dinner for 4. Side note- there’s a place right at the marina that will prepare/filet and vacuum seal everything you want to keep at a great price. Justin was super fun to go out with and was so fast to take the hook out and reset the line. We had a couple times where all four of us were on fish at the same time which was really cool. Highlight of our trip and will 100% do it again.
