The Captain and Max were very knowledgeable and informative. We had a great trip and plan to book again in the future.
Unfortunately for this charter they showed up with a group of young kids that got sea sick and cried the whole time. For us and every other boat fishing that day the fish were not biting we trolled our regular spread of baits and lures and were able to catch live mackerel in with we used for live bait trolling but the fish did not cooperate. When the charter asked to go back to dock we did immediately cutting our trip short by an hour and a half. We did everything we could and everything that we are supposed on this charter as we do with all of our charters. Maybe guests should book an inshore charter when they have small kids. Clearly that charter was for the fatherโs not the kids.

After some 20 trips with deep sea fishing boats in Bermuda, Islamorada, The Keys, and Great Lakes over the past 25 years, Iโm used to keeping our own catch and maybe sharing something with your captain when itโs over - at your own discretion and esp if there was a lot of fish caught. Instead, the captain of this trip took most of the fish and all of the large rock fish we caught. If you want to keep your own catch, I recommend going elsewhere.
