Great family ran business!  Supurb communication!  Punctual!  I stayed at El Cid El Moro and booked a trip for just myself, Gabriel picked me up at the hotel and drove me to the marina.  He was on time and explained everything on the way to the marina.  While dropping me backoff at the hotel he made some great restaurant suggestions and told me about the area.
The captain of my trip was Alfredo, he did a great job!  I didn’t catch any fish but wasnt for the lack of hustle from Alfredo.  He worked his hardest and we had several marlin strikes but did not have any hookup.  I am a guide back home and I know how stressful it is to try your hardest but it doesn’t always end in customer “success”.  It’s called “fishing” not “catching” for a reason!

I definitely will book again with them the next time I am in the area!

great day all in from the arranged transportation to on the water! Only landed one fish but that was natures fault not the boat captain! they just weren’t biting. We seen lots of marlin swimming and jumping but couldnt get them to commit to the lures although our guide Alfredo did his absolute best to try and entice a bite! seen lots of dolphins and turtles so it was as much a wildlife watching tour as fishing!

Went out on a 7 hour deep sea fishing trip to target tuna, Marlin or sailfish. Guillermo and his son Caesar are very knowledgeable and friendly. We caught one of the 2 sailfish caught by all the boats that day. Guillermo uses his decades of fishing experience, took us 30 miles out to find the sailfish. In total caught 2 Toro, 1 large Mahi mahi and a 5’ sailfish. Guillermo cleaned and cut some mahi mahi steaks for us to take back. Georgina also picked us up at our resort and drove us to the marina.

My son and I had a great morning. We were picked up and dropped off at the marina by Pepe’s. We went 16km out and caught 2 Mahi Mahi. The captain fileted one for us which we took back to the hotel to have prepared for dinner. Overall a great experience at a reasonable price. Only commnets are that the Captain was not very communicative. he barely talked. I think this may have been due to his english. He did a lot, seemed very knowledgale and experienced, but never explained anything. he did point out whales, dolphins and a sea lion. I would have liked to be able to chat more and learn about deep sea fishing as we were first timers. The other thing is that you need cash to close the transaction. this was not clear upon booking as the deposit is with a credit card. The operator was easy to deal with and took us to a bank on the way back to get cash. Overall a good experience and we would book with Pepe’s Fleet again. FYI thre are a lot of swells. My son did get sea sick. Consider taking something for motion sickness if you are prone to it.

Everything was ready when we got to the dock which is about a 30 minute cab/uber ride from the cruise port. Got there about 9 from the earliest cruise release and fished until 2. It is a 45 minute ride from the dock to where we fished. Had to be back to the dock by 3 to get back over to the cruise port. Fished hard for 4-5 hours and did not catch but the boat was comfortable for 4 of us and the captain and first mate. They provided waters and 12 beers for our trip and Georgina also made us sandwiches for our lunches. While it was a bummer we did not catch the experience was very positive and we would book with Pepes fleet again. At the end of the trip Georgina the owner was nice enough to give us a ride back to the cruise port which saved us a the cab fare back to the boat. Great trip!!!
