Boston Makreelhaai (Makohaai) Fishing Charters

Ga op avontuur in het diepe blauwe water op zoek naar de vangst van je leven! Je gaat tot 40 mijl uit de kust vissen op Blauwvintonijn, Haai, Gestreepte Zeebaars en Blauwbaars – jij bepaalt waar je op wilt vissen! Als je ervoor kiest om te chummen voor Haaien, kan er een toeslag van $30 van toepassing zijn. Dit pakket is beschikbaar op weekdagen van maandag tot en met donderdag.

Tijdens deze vijf uur durende trip ga je op Gestreepte Zeebaars en Blauwbaars vissen die graag in stromend water verblijven. Daarom stemt schipper Scott de trip af op de getijdencyclus. Je gebruikt licht materiaal bij het vissen op zeebaars en blauwbaars. Afhankelijk van het seizoen wordt er getrolld, gedrift, voor anker gegaan of met levend aas gevist. Ze gebruiken circle hooks om de visstand te beschermen.

Het is nooit te vroeg om op Gestreepte Zeebaars of Amerikaanse Bot te vissen, en schipper Ronnie staat klaar om je naar enkele van de beste visgronden te begeleiden. Zorg er alleen voor dat je op tijd wakker wordt en komt opdagen, de rest wordt voor je geregeld.

Met de hele dag aan boord kun je verder uitvaren op zoek naar grote Schelvis en Koolvis, terwijl je nog genoeg tijd hebt om enorme Gestreepte Zeebaars dichter bij de kust te vangen. De boot is de hele dag van jou, dus ga erop uit en vang geweldige vis!

This is an OFFSHORE 12-hour trip for 4 passengers max. We will head 20-50 miles OFFSHORE, in search LARGE pelagic sharks & LARGE tuna. We also bottom fish for tasty fish like haddock, pollack & cod while waiting for the big ones to bite. This is a chance to battle some of the largest fish in the Atlantic Fish can be processed & shipped home for a fee. No Whimps, Weenies or land lubbers!

Climb aboard and channel your inner Quint, and join us on the hunt for jaws! On this trip we will chum the waters to lure in these black eyed beasts, and set out our lines using “piano wire” leaders with heavy duty shark hooks . Equipped with the heaviest tackle and our XL fisherman’s outfitter rods, you can try your hand at battling some of the biggest predators these waters have to offer. Some of the species we may encounter include, porbeagle shark, thresher shark, blue shark, and mako. Plus many more!

Mid summer through October is prime time for shark fishing out of Gloucester. Porbeagle sharks up to 500 pounds, giant Thresher, Blue Sharks and Makos are all common around this time. You can do battle with these strong fighting fish on standup gear, full sized tuna rods or even light tackle.Some species are excellent for eating and can be processed for you to take home. To target Bluefin Tuna, Sharks, groundfish, or Whale watching, requires a longer run to offshore banks. These trips typically require a 45 – 60 minute run to the fishing grounds, and become much more dependent upon favorable weather patterns. However, when conditions are right, offshore trips offer a whole new world of opportunity. Because of the longer run, a 6-hour trip is a minimum, with 8 hours being the norm, and 10 hrs a norm for serious tuna fishing
