We had a fantastic afternoon out from Cedar Key with Captain Jason who was an expert fisherman, guide and great company. We caught a good number of trout, a shark, ladyfish and kept an enormous 22” speckled trout. On the wildlife side (when our eyes were not glued to the float) we saw a turtle, several manatees, a ray and a couple of dolphins. Wonderful trip, highly recommend Captain Jason.

Our overall experience was average due to weather and lack of fish! Jason did a great job trying to put us in good spots; they just weren’t biting because it was so cold. We we’re cold too! We did get to see a dolphin close by the boat, and Jason maneuvered the boat so we could get good photos. He was great! We had 2 eleven-year olds with us and they had a blast, but 4 hours was enough for them.

We had a great experience on this half day fishing trip.  The weather was perfect.  Captain J Lowe was attentive to our needs and found the best spots for fishing.  This was the perfect boat for 2 people.  My husband and I plan to book another trip in the fall.  Can’t wait to cook all the trout we caught.

Captain Jason is a phenomenal guide and put on us the fish!! He has great knowledge of the area we fished and has an awesome rig with great equipment!  If you want a great day of fishing, I highly recommend Captain Jason! Best charter fishing trip I’ve ever had!!
