Left the dock at 6:30am. Went looking and found a school of fish pushing water in 10 inches of water and commenced steady catching but eventually the bite went dead. Needed 3 more keeper Redfish to have our limits. Decided to fish a mighty productive spot but when anchored up I let them know how productive this spot was but the depth was wrong to fish it but gave it a try . To my surprise within literally 3 minutes we had our first rod bender. She measured 32 inches and we decided to release this breeder to spawn . In the end we netted 2 oversize 3 more keepers to finish out our limits. I have been guiding over 38 years and even though i didn't feel we would catch any there and figured i would try for 10 minutes and WOW !! See even I was surprised because there shouldn't have been any there. Fish can humble you !! Come be a guest on my boat and let me put a smile on your face

Went straight to a go to spot with water level kinda high . I had the pleasure of fishing with Shelly and Rodney this morning. Pulled into fishing spot a 6am and as fast as we could cast out , rods were bending. We fished with fishbites and boxed redfish as well as black drum. All in all total somewhere around 30 to 40 fish. Keepers and non keepers

This fishing trip was the absolute highlight of our whole family vacation! Our guide Thomas was AMAZING! He let my son drive the boat right out the gate and that made him so happy! We got to our spot and started catching fish within minutes! We had an absolute blast watching our son reel in many great Red and black drum! Thomas made our trip easy and super fun. First off let me say that Captain Tommy was communicative, on-time, and prepared. We wasted no time at the dock, and his boat was clean, and equipped with everything you need on a fishing boat. Captain Tommy was easy goin, friendly, and his warm smiled felt as if we’ve known him for years. We caught our limit in no time and was back home the same morning to take a nap. We picked Tommy Barnards to be our guide because we enjoyed our time fishing with him about six months ago. And once again we were not disappointed! Tommy put us on the fish again! He is very funny! and it makes the whole experience better! We had such a great time on our fishing trip today and caught several big red fish with one of them requiring a tag. Captain Tommy is definitely one of a kind!! Clearly he knows the area, where to find the fish, but also has a passion for his job as a guide. Along with the great fishing, he has a great personality and kept us entertained without being over the top!! There were 3 of us, including a 16year old, and we all loved this fishing trip…DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!
