What an incredible start to the season

Fishing has been absolutely off the charts so far this year! Early season runs have been strong with feisty salmon and some absolutely beautiful halibut. Our guides have been having an amazing time with some fantastic guests and a bunch of first timers!

Obviously no one can guarantee fish but I don’t think trolling the same two lures for four hours helped. Nice new boat with plenty of space inside and outside. I asked about using bait or another colour of lure but was told these colours work. We also paid for drinks and snacks but none were offered. We did catch a very small Copper Rockfish inadvertently when bringing in the gear but no salmon to take home.

Jason appreciate your honest review! I am sorry to hear about your experience and am actually very surprised. I will definitely be looking into this as this is the first such review all year. Fishing has definitely slowed down a bit and Tristan knows his stuff. Thanks for the feedback and I will be reaching out to you once I hear back from my guide. Bottled water and trail mix etc are definitely part of the deal and totally should have been offered.
