We were here visiting a family member and decided on a fishing trip. It was a cold windy day, wasn’t the best day for fishing but James worked hard to find us some fish. Great day and a fun time!

Enjoyed our morning with Captain James going catfishing!  The weather was nice and peaceful to go out on the lake.  Captain James was very knowledgeable about getting us to the good fishing spots and educated us some on how to read the fish finder.  We really enjoyed our trip and would highly recommend Fish Head Water Sports!

Captain James was very knowledgeable about the lake and clearly had lots of experience. He worked hard to make sure our entire group was catching fish. The morning started out a little bit slow but James did everything he could to put us onto some fish: tried several spots, different bait and hooks. Eventually we all started catching. This was my two teenage brothers’ first time going out and James was patient, encouraging, and informative. Overall a fun experience.

It takes a skilled angler to find fish when they’re not biting, and James proved he’s one of the best. With the right gear and the know-how to adapt to changing conditions, he turned a tough day into a memorable experience. I highly recommend James to anyone looking for an exceptional fishing guide.

capt james was open to my wants and needs from the very beginning and was open to multiple locations searching for what was best for what i was looking for, very knowledgeable of the lake , i maxed out in the hybrids and i plan on additional trips with him.
