Wonderful day fishing with Jon, Alex, Luis and Jimmy. The boat is in pristine condition and the equipment is top notch. The guides are friendly and helpful. They certainly know how to put you on the fish. Jon was great coordinating the trip and he was the only service that offered a shared charter trip which makes it economical and convenient. The grouper, snapper and tile fish were as delicious to eat as they were exciting to catch!

Booked a half day inshore trip in Tamarindo aboard of the Pargo Negro. Charlie took us to the place he called the reef, about 8 miles from the coast. We landed two mahi mahis one right after another between 25-30lbs. Charlie explained that male and female are usually together and it’s not rare to catch them at the same time. We then tried for grouper in 250-300 ft. There was plenty of action in this was a lot of fun. We caught grouper and tile fish 3 at the time!. Soared arms after 2 or 3 times.... Meer

Captain Charlie is one of the most experienced captains I have met in Tamarindo. Our trip was a success. Both him and his first mate worked very hard to put us on the fish. The boat is in impecable condition and we thought that the price was more than reasonable. We booked a half day trip so our goal was to get mahi and tuna. Charlie and co delivered. We got two huge mahis as well as some smaller ones that preferred to release. We also caught yellow fin tuna in the 10-15lb range. Absolutely happy... Meer

Kind of Slow bite. But crew and boat were excellent.  They did everything in their power to get us on some fish. Even let one of our group free dive w spear gun.  We were very happy with our experience.

Great day on the boat with Jon, Jimmy, and crew. My wife and I shared with two other anglers, we made good conversation and had a really fun day feeling in two big mahi and an amberjack with the other anglers. Delicious fruit to snack on and plenty of water, beer, and other drinks on board. After we got to keep some fish and had it cooked locally in Tamarindo, I would highly recommend.
