My son had asked for fish larger than what we usually catch out of the pond, so I arranged for him and three friends to go out with Captns Ron & Gidget on Mo Grouper. Despite unfavorable wind and waves, their expertise ensured we achieved our goal quickly. We then headed to calmer waters, where the fishing pace remained steady, with each line-up producing a fish or two. The trip played out right to our expectations, and everyone had a fantastic time.

At first I was not sure on going out on the open ocean. After talking to Captain Ron and Gidget and them telling me all the safety equipment they had on board I felt much better. I also get motion sickness and they gave me great tips to help with that. I did not get sick!!! The boat ride was amazing and the ocean was very calm. Captain Ron & Gidget got us on fish and we were hooking them from the first cast. Lucky day! I appreciated that he stopped for live bait on the way out to the reef. With a different charter company we spent time fishing for bait instead of fishing for big fish. We had two fishing-loving pre-teen girls on our trip and they did a great job helping the girls. We would book Mo Grouper again if we come back again!

The captain put us on a number of amazing spots that produced a wide variety of fish… Red Snapper, Grouper, Flounder, Trigger, B-liners and more…  We caught plenty for our dinner and saw some amazing sea life as well.  The boat is fast and spacious making it easy to fish and get to the fishing!  Thank you for a wonderful trip, we had a blast….  Go Mo grouper! We had an amazing trip, Captain Ron/Gidgett were very accommodating and personable to our family!  They made our trip unforgettable for the children and ourselves, that huge king fish and huge Mahis were once in a lifetime!  Highly recommend if you are wanting to make lifetime memories with the family.  We will definitely book the MO Grouper next time in PCB!
