Background
Captain Mike Carroll started commercial and charter fishing in 1988. He has been a licensed captain since 1994. Mr. Carroll paid his way through graduate school commercial fishing in the 90's and today works as a fishery economist as well as charter captain. Mr. Carroll is a member of the Scientific and Statistical Committee of the New England Fishery Management Council and is an active supporter of fisheries both recreational and commercial in the region.
Techniques
Captain Mike Carroll has caught hundreds of Blue fin tuna and is an experienced offshore fisherman. Mr. Carroll is also very good with families and working the inshore fisheries (flounder, striped bass, haddock) around the Boston.
