- Captain Mike Carroll started commercial and charter fishing in 1988. He has been a licensed captain since 1994. Mr. Carroll paid his way through graduate school commercial fishing in the 90's and today works as a fishery economist as well as charter captain. Mr. Carroll is a member of the Scientific and Statistical Committee of the New England Fishery Management Council and is an active supporter of fisheries both recreational and commercial in the region.
