We were a group of 3y We had a great time on the water. Fred is really experience and knows the good places to catch fish. Fred made sure that we had all the time bait on the hook which kept him busy 😅 The result: 4 hours on the water. Tons of information about local nature and community. And 6 ready to grill filets. The bite was slow at first we were throwing top water plugs with no luck.  When the sun came up higher in the sky we were able to see the Peacocks on their nests. After a learning curve on sighting and flipping the jigs at close range we were able to catch some good fish.  Over all good experience, the only thing I can say negative was we weren’t able to get under a bridge due to the amount of rain in the area in the past week. Captain Fred was knowledgeable and a great guide.

Captain Goudey is what you’re looking for in a guide. Personable, knowledgeable, and somebody you actually enjoy spending the day with. We had a nice day for early February and he was able to put us on fish in several different ways over the course of a half-day charter. Lots of fun. His boat is the perfect ride for getting in the skinny water and boogieing across the bay.

We are 2 adults and a 9 year old. All inexperienced. Jeff was great with our (occasionally grumpy) 9 year old. He was knowledgable and took us to several spots. The fish were not cooperating at first but Jeff just kept it moving, and eventually found a great spot were we caught a few big enough to take home.

Captain Fred is as good as they come, no doubt like his other local fishing boat Captain friends.  We saw four bald eagles which Fred radioed to the other guys for them if they wished to share with they’re clients, that’s good will.  Then he jumped into the water to save a fish on line, three feet deep, but he did it!  Didn’t have to.  Took us out of his way out to the ocean for legal dinner fishing.  Caught a Triple Tail and filleted it for us which, not everyone will do these days. ...
