Christie, Thank you for expressing your concerns in your review.  You booked your trip with Fishing Booker and there is not a mention anywhere in your booking that you wanted one of our boats with a restroom, nor was there any conversation with me regarding this, otherwise, I would have made sure you were on our Mako center console with a restroom as we make every possible effort to accommodate each and every guests needs and/or requests at all times.

Our listing states the restroom is available on the Mako only.  When booking through fishing booker you are not given a choice as to what boat you would like to be on, however, when we sent you our confirmation our contact information is contained in that confirmation and if your concern was to ensure you had a boat with a restroom on board then you had every opportunity to contact me directly to confirm and/or make that request,

Further, messages can be sent through Fishing Booker as well and there is nothing from anyone confirming you and your guests specifically wanted to be on a boat with a restroom.  I would have accommodated your request just as I do for each and every other guest who requests specific needs from our company.
The other boat you mentioned that had a Captain was Captain James, the owner of the company who also had a charter with a father and his daughter who paid to book that boat specifically.  The pricing for that boat is completely different then the pricing offered on the listing you booked and we have a separate listing for that specific boat.

You were on a 24 foot boat with plenty of seating for 4 persons.  There is seating in front of the helm and a long bench seat in the back of the helm.

As far as Capt Dan being rushed to keep bait on your hooks…Kudos to him for doing so!  Capt. Dan is aweseome and we are very glad to have him as a part of Blue Water Charters.

However, it is always a rush to re-bait guests hooks when they are bottom fishing, we don’t want your lines out of the water for and length of time. We want them down as much as possible so our guests have constant action.

When you spoke with James you did ask him if you were going to be able to go back out.  Unfortunately, it was raining with thunderheads and lighting in the area so that was not an option.

James contacted me and asked me to adjust the pricing for a 4 hour trip.  Which is what we did and what falls in line with the fishing time you actually did spend offshore.

6 hour fishing trip / 4 hour fishing trip etc., does not mean you are fishing for 6 full hours or 4 full hours.  Travel time from the marina to the fishing spot is allotted in that time as well as from each fishing spot to another and from the fishing spot back to the marina.  The entire trip is based on dock to dock.  We are not different in that respect than any other charter in this area.

You are stating as well that you did not go OFFSHORE?  I am not sure what the confusion is but you were offshore in the Gulf of Mexico fishing for Red Snapper and all of you caught your limit of snapper as well.

When it comes to the weather we have no control over those conditions and will not keep our guests out in conditions that are unsafe at anytime.  Safety is our first priority period.  In the image above you can clearly see the approaching storm.

Pictures are attached in this reply as well showing the approaching storm as well as all the awesome Red Snapper you and your guests caught that day.

In the future, I would highly recommend discussing any specific requests, concerns and have all questions you may have asked by the charter Capt. or other associate of the company so that they can accommodate all of your needs and not be blind sided by an unfounded review such as this.

We pride ourselves on customer service and work very hard each and every day to give the visitors to this area an experience they will enjoy and remember for a lifetime.
