Achtergrond: 2026 will mark my 14th year as a guide on the ocean waters surrounding Ketchikan, Alaska, and my 11th as a fishing charter captain. I've also got over ten years experience working with people with disabiltiies, in roles ranging from home coordinator to recreation therapist to educator.
Technieken: Trolling is my primary method for salmon fishing, though jigging can be great fun too. Mooching is possible with more experienced anglers. Light tackle fishing for rockfish and lingcod is a great way to find some fast action. And bottom fishing for halibut and other species ranks high on my list for time well spent, but until we can secure a charter halibut permit, I won't be able to offer halibut trips for Fishability.
