You’re absolutely right, on shared trips rods are rotated between guests so that everyone gets a fair chance to fish, which can sometimes limit the action for more experienced anglers. A private charter is definitely the best choice if you prefer to have full control and more time on the rods, we’d be happy to arrange that for your next visit!
