He's spent the past 32 years fishing saltwater right here in Boston harbor, learning the tricks of the trade and the taste of the local species. Captain Mike is also one of only a handful of local rod and reel commercial fishermen. Supplying fresh, local, sustainably caught seafood to restaurants and markets in the Boston area. Captain Brad is a chip off the old block! On board since he was just 11 days old. Brad was born and raised fishing right here in Boston harbor. Fishing is in his veins. Winning or placing high in many local tournaments. At 16 years old he set the IGFA WORLD RECORD for a shark he caught just 30 miles from port. At 18 years old, he was one of the youngest licensed captains in Boston. Now 23 years old, he has started his own guide service and runs the Fishbucket during the week. Captain Mike and Captain Brad will gladly show you the ropes and help you have a lot of fun on the blue waters of Boston. Accepting all major forms of payment including PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, Stripe, Tap To Pay, Cash and Credit cards on board the boat, and we never charge extra for Boston pickup, because we are actually in Boston! *Please remember the first mate works ONLY FOR TIPS!, and a 20% cash tip is not only customary, it's required! The first mate works HARD. Both before you arrive, and long after you're gone to prep the boat and all equipment to help you have the best chance of success. - Inshore Light tackle sight casting to feeding fish. Inshore light tackle slow trolling for when the fish are holding deep. Inshore Live bait drifting to target larger keeper sized fish. Offshore school Blue-fin tuna trolling. Offshore live bait fishing for Giant Blue-fin tuna Offshore drift fishing for sharks Offshore bottom fishing and jigging for groundfish.
