First let me start off by saying we went on another charter earlier in the week with another charter and it was inshore and the six of us didn’t even touch a fishing pole.
Now Jose and Robbie were AMAZING! Everyone on the boat caught a fish and we all took turns on a 104 inch blue marlin. Now you can’t expect this to happen on every charter but these guys worked their butt off to put us on fish. We also caught 6 mahi! I would highly recommend everyone to book with these guys! We also purchased a wall mount through grays taxidermy through the charter.

Our group of four recently had an absolutely incredible fishing trip in Costa Rica, and we can’t recommend it highly enough! From start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations.
We set out hoping for a good day of fishing, and we were rewarded with an abundance of action. We landed a variety of fish, including feisty jack crevalle, delicious snapper, and an impressive five tuna! The thrill of reeling in each one was fantastic, and the variety kept everyone engaged.
The crew was absolutely fantastic. They were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, providing expert guidance and assistance throughout the day. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and they clearly wanted us to have a great time. They were quick to bait hooks, untangle lines, and offer tips on technique.
Beyond the fishing, the trip was made even better by the thoughtful touches. We were provided with plenty of snacks and a delicious lunch, ensuring we were well-fed and energized for the day. The boat was comfortable and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience.
Most importantly, everyone in our group had an absolute blast. The combination of excellent fishing, a fantastic crew, and beautiful scenery created an unforgettable day on the water. If you’re looking for a top-notch fishing experience in Costa Rica, look no further! We’ll definitely be booking another trip with them in the future.

Moises and Andres were a great captain and crew. They really worked hard all day to put us on the fish and we found them. Captain Moises made good suggestions for where to go to find the dorado. Once we did that he found a spot where we could get a fish my 7 year old could handle and he was delighted. Lunch was a nice spread that was served while moving to a new spot. would definitely fish with these guys again.

The Sea Star Crew really made it a great fishing day for my kids to remember.  From pickup to drop off everything went very smoothly.  The Deckhands Gerald & Jose made sure to interact with the kids and even showed them how and why they gear prep the way they do.  Once fishing all the kids were able to catch fish. 2 Sailfish & 2 Mahi Mahi.  Gerald even used some of the Mahi Mahi to make a delicious sashimi plate that the kids devoured.  At the end we wished we could have fished longer, so next time we will definitely look at a full day fishing trip.

We had the BEST time with Moseis and his nephews. Our time with them went too fast! We were tired from all the fish caught, and it was an amazing variety for our dinner at night. They went above and beyond. I could not recommend them more! Kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They adjusted the itinerary to our desires AND made a delicious lunch to boot! Thank you all! We can’t wait to visit again!
