Wanted to take my family on their first Louisiana marsh trip. Couldn’t have asked for a better introduction than a trip to Venice with Southern Addiction Outfitters. Michael had a well maintained boat, great boat handling skills and quality fishing gear. I wanted to chase a quantity of fish so the kids could stay busy. 2-3 hook up at a time staying in schools of 15”-17” rat reds while picking up some slots sure made for a fun day. We had an incredible redfishing trip, the action was nonstop from start to finish. Captain Mike put us right on the fish, and we caught our limits early. The rest of the day was spent catching and releasing some beautiful bull reds that gave us an unforgettable fight. To top it all off, we landed two nice triple tail, which was the cherry on top of a perfect trip.

We had an absolutely incredible day on the water with Capt. Mike! From the moment we stepped on the boat, he made us feel right at home. His knowledge of the area and passion for fishing really showed, he knew exactly where to go, and it wasn’t long before we were hooked up with some beautiful redfish.
