Booked on short notice, the crew made accommodations for us. Crew was there to catch fish, which we did plenty of. Great experience for the family and I.

Captain Alfonso (or “Chucho”) was very accommodating of our cruise ship schedule. We made arrangements to be back to the ship in time and had a great day! Trolling was the method of choice. We had only 3 fish hooked and only landed 1. As they say, it’s called “fishing” not “catching”! My girlfriend did land her first ever Mahi. In the second picture you see a bent hook. This was from a fish that the Captain thought was a very large Wahoo. They said they’ve never had their reinforced hooks bend like that. Although I didn’t catch it, it was a fun time fighting it. Both Carlos and Alejandro were extremely helpful and worked nonstop to try and get us on some fish. They had drinks, sandwiches, and fruit readily available. With the Mahi, Carlos made us fresh saviche. Thank you to Captain Chucho, Alejandro, and Carlos for a great time.

We booked an 8 hr combo trip with the Happy Fisherman March 8th 2022. We were picked up at our resort pier which was very helpful, they were on time and very helpful. We trolled the first half of the day with limited success, only catching 1 barracuda. They switched over to bottom fishing and we caught over a dozen trigger fish which were a blast to catch. we were then treated to some snorkeling and fresh lunch and snacks. I would highly recommend booking a charter with Alfonso as he takes very good care of his boat and equipment and tries very hard to create a good time for your party.
