Dylan was my guide for this trip and i couldnt of asked for a better guide, it was my first saltwater trip so i was there to learn. He put me on fish immediately with a snook and then a tarpon. He was informative and taught me a good amount can’t recommend this charter enough.

This fishing excursion was supposed to be the highlight of our trip for my kids. When we booked, they asked what type of fish we would like to catch.and we listed three or four different varieties. We booked a 4 hour trip and caught one tarpon. There were no other rods other than Tarpon rods so the five of us just sat around for hours despite going to several locations. We would’ve liked to have at least tried to catch some bait fish or anything other then just sit there. The captain baited the rods and threw them out for us and actually hooked the one fish we caught although we were allowed to help reel it in. (It’s not like my kids were little. They are 17 and 19.) We basically sat there with nothing to do the whole time. Although our captain was nice, he barely spoke to us. They did provide drinks. We’ve charted several trips before with great success but this turned out to be a complete disappointment.

I’ve always dreamed of fishing the waters down south, and this trip provided us with the perfect opportunity.  It was a wonderful journey to the lagoon and back; we fished for two hours, had four bites, and caught two tarpon.

Captain Jose was awesome, knowledgeable and very accommodating. He knew his way around the hot spots on the lagoon. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a great day on the water!

This is a good backwater trip.  Wind took out our ocean trip.  Jumped on this.  Good captain knew the area.
